Why Heirloomx

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Reading-Based Learning

All courses are structured around reading and reflection rather than fast-paced video content — suited to households that absorb information steadily rather than in bursts.

Practical for Ordinary Households

Content is written for regular domestic situations — not archivists or specialists. No prior knowledge of photography, filing systems, or record-keeping is required.

Bangkok-Based Delivery

Group sessions are held at our Phaya Thai studio. Materials and mailings are prepared with the Thai household context in mind — language, climate, and living arrangements included.

Unhurried Pacing

The annual program is deliberately paced across twelve months. There is no pressure to complete tasks quickly — the format respects that document organisation happens alongside ordinary life.

Physical Materials Included

The annual program includes a printed handbook updated each year. Physical materials offer permanence that screen-based resources do not — important when the subject is long-term family records.

Small Group Sessions

Group reflection sessions are kept small. Participants share approaches and questions in a setting that encourages real conversation rather than passive attendance.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Do I need any prior knowledge to join a course? +

No prior knowledge is needed. All three offerings are designed for ordinary household use. The photography course assumes you have a smartphone or basic camera; the workshop and annual program require only that you are willing to sit down and work through the materials.

Where are the sessions held? +

The one-day workshop and the two annual group sessions for the reading program are held at our studio at 76 Phaholyothin Soi 11, Phaya Thai, Bangkok. The photography course is a self-directed reading course — there is no in-person requirement for that one.

How does the annual reading program work? +

Each month, participants receive a reading mailing — a short printed or digital set of materials focused on a specific aspect of family record-keeping. Twice a year, a small group session is held in Bangkok where participants can share notes and questions. A revised handbook is distributed at the start of each annual cycle.

Can I join the annual program partway through the year? +

We recommend starting at the beginning of a new cycle for the fullest experience. That said, late entrants can sometimes join at a mid-year point with access to previous mailings for that cycle. Contact us and we will let you know the next enrolment window.

What is the refund or cancellation policy? +

Cancellation and refund terms are outlined in the enrolment agreement for each course. Please contact us directly with any questions before enrolling; we are happy to explain the terms clearly before any payment is made.

Is my personal information kept private? +

Yes. We collect only the information needed to deliver our courses and communicate with you about your enrolment. We do not share your details with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
